How Does the AMTEK UV-C
Nanotechnology Process Work?

1. UV-C Light
and Catalyst
The UV-C light stimulates the catalyst coating (TiO2 + Ag)* inside the air disinfection chamber. The silver reacts with any microbes in the incoming air to inhibit their reproduction.
2. Deactivation
of Viruses
On exposure to UV-C light, O2 and water vapour, the TiO2 in the catalyst coating creates hydroxyl radicals (OH•), affecting the viruses’ lipid membrane or proteins. These radicals then damage the DNA of the viruses and deactivate them in the air.
3. The Virus Dies
As a result, the TiO2
+ Ag catalyst
ruptures the viruses’ cell membranes, causing death. The air
exiting the device is now
disinfected

How to Easily Replace the Filter
Proceed during

1. The LED indicator light blinks when filter is expired.
2. Fan power must be turned off.
3. Power supply of lighting
system remains in normal use.


Replacement of filters
1. Follow user manual instruc- tions to open the filter cover, remove the old filter, and insert the new one.
Pressing the RESET key
1. Press the button on the left side of the LED light for 4 seconds. 2. Light is switched off, and circulatory system power restarts. 3. Timer resets for next filter change.
